Gr3 Championship series

If everything seems under control, you’re not going fast enough.

The Gr3 Championship is the most popular weekly race series offered by Aero League Racing. It currently boasts five tiers (skill levels) with more than 100 full time and reserve drivers competing for glory.

Monday evening

Races in this series are held every Monday evening at 8pm London time for an eight week season. With several reserve drivers in each tier you are almost always guaranteed a full grid of equally paced drivers.

sprint and feature

Each week our drivers compete in two events at the same track.  First, a 15 minute “sprint” race preceded by a 10 minute qualifying session.  Then a 40 minute “feature” with a reverse grid based on the sprint race results.

Constructors and driver champions

Every full time driver is paired with a teammate and will drive the same car throughout the eight week season.  In addition to earning individual points, each driver in a team will contribute to their constructors point total.

Clean & respectful

ALR maintains a high standard for driver behavior on and off track.  When incidents occur they can be referred to our dedicated team of stewards for review who will assign penalties when warranted.

Spec series

winning isn’t everything but wanting to win is

The Aero League Racing Spec Series puts the focus on driver skill by putting everyone in the same car each week. Test your ability to adapt to a variety of different car types and push out of your comfort zone.

Wednesday Evening

Hosted on Wednesdays at 8pm London time this race series is a great introduction to league racing.  All skill levels are invited to participate in this weekly event!

sprint and feature

Similar to the Gr3 Championship series each week drivers are tested with a 15 minute and 40 minute endurance race.

team and individual champions

Spec Championship points are awarded to individual drivers and those points also contribute to each 3-4 driver team.  Teams are assigned based on skill level and past performance to create a balanced championship where any team can win.

friendly competition

Of course everyone in the spec series wants to win, but the focus is on sportsmanship and pushing each other to become better drivers.

Nations cup

What’s behind you doesn’t matter

Show off your national pride by participating in Aero League Racing’s annual Nation’s Cup series.  You’ll participate in multiple races in a variety of car classes with 2-4 other drivers from your region.

Unique car/track combos

Nation’s Cup is an opportunity to show off your well-rounded driving skills by racing in a variety of circuit/car combinations. This series features both road and race cars in multiple classes.

condensed race calendar

The Nations Cup series is a fast-paced event that schedules multiple races a week for a couple of weeks.  Each evening of racing consists of either one or two races over the course of about an hour.

Bragging rights

Nations Cup brings with it a fair amount of friendly trash-talking and comradery. It’s an amazing venue to showcase the incredible international community that ALR fosters.

2-Hour endurance series (2hes)

To finish first, you must first finish

As the name implies, this race series leans into the endurance aspect of motorsports with two-hour long race events.  Test your stamina and mental focus in these mini-events hosted throughout the year.

Ramped up difficulty

ALR challenges drivers in this series with heavy damage (requires a pit stop to fix) and challenging weather and time of day conditions.

strategy options

Races are carefully structured to promote multiple viable pit stop and tire strategies. Tire wear and fuel multipliers and mandatory tire usage rules make this an engaging race series.

balanced teams

Drivers from across all tiers are encouraged to participate and are evenly distributed so that there are no “stacked” teams with the fastest drivers.  Everyone has the opportunity to contribute to a winning team.
